From memory when I did this a few years ago, you use the Celica yoke and the uni is the same as the holden uni - OR - when the tailshaft was shortened, I used the front of a Celica tailshaft and had it welded to the Holden tailshaft.
I definately know that I used the Celica yoke.

Thanks Ken,

I may have to weld the Celica end of the tail shaft to my shaft the Celica uni cap is .54mm wider in diamiter than the Holden.
I could have sworn that i had used a yoke from some thing else and it had the same size uni as the holden.
O well i will have to get the hacksaw and welder out.

G'Day Dean,

Thanks mate, I new there was a yoke that I had used once before.
I didnt get to do the shaft today (luckily), I was stuffing around with the mounting brackets for my bucket seats.
I will give the wreckers ago Monday.

Steve.

Dean,

You are right, the tail shaft from a 1981 Toyota Corona (XT-130) with 1.9ltr starfire motor.

Haven't found one as yet this morning but when i do i will let you know the price.

Dean,

No go, the XT-130 carona that I looked at today has a Borgwarner gear box fitted with the lager uni size.

Still looking even if its to convince myself that I had used one that fitted the Holden uni.
