I cannot get the codes to match FC Utes with "Ivory" paint and Red trim show up as:- 50-648 Malibu Ivory with Fall Red Trim - Paint Colour 6109 352-648 Cape Ivory with Fall Red Trim - Paint Colour 2158 With the exception of a single Van(2104) code below, India Ivory - Paint Colour 7770 was a sedan or wagon colour FC Van 173-652 India Ivory with Fall Red Trim - Paint Colour 7770 Could you please check it out again. 173 is the code for all-over India Ivory, which tallies with the paint code 7770. 648 is the trim code for a Fall Red interior fitted to a ute. Looks kosher to me. My mistake, the numbers are correct. The color is part of the 1958 Color Range (within the Car Color Specification Sheets issued by Holden, there are various dates of issue, and with the FC's more than one set of codes. This particular code is referenced in Section B, dated 8 July 1959, and I had missed it in the cross checking) Sorry Geoff_K |
