Title: hr disc rear brakes Post by: waynos on July 25, 2008, 07:35:59 PM i'm about to put in hr disc brake wheel cylinders but the shoes are off a drum set up i'm thinking of welding the pin to the shoe or welding some 3 mm flat bar in there ,can't see my car for a few days so have to wait till then.

Title: Re: hr disc rear brakes Post by: FC427 on July 25, 2008, 08:10:21 PM Years ago when you had to do an exchange for the shoes and they were hard to get, I use to weld them up with the lining cooled by a wet cloth now days you can buy them outright for not much $$$$ why bother .......FC427........
