I have scrapped about 5 FE and FC utes that were all past restoring and I don't regret doing it. I couldn't even count the number of sedans and wagons that I've scrapped over the years. It's far better in my opinion to start with a better car worth a bit more money, than spend hundreds of hours on something that may never be finished due to the work and cost involved. Good luck to those who restore rusted out wrecks - I applaud your endeavours, I've done one of those & I won't do another.
