When you say you are running a HQ setup - what exactly do you mean. HQ brakes, HQ steering or what. Why would you want the hassle to run rack & pinion if you are only running a 6 cylinder engine?
I'm sure I don't understand the question!

Hi

In my maroon FC I had run HQ setup ( brakes and stubs) I used HR ball joint steering arms and at the same time put in an EH column, they are 4 inches shorter which got the wheel away from me however one of the support bolt holes is a fraction out so run a drill through it and you need to make a spacing bush between the rail or pack with washers, you will see what I mean if you go this way.

All worked well and simple to do.
