Title: indicators on a fe
Post by: dwortho on June 15, 2008, 07:48:02 PM
Hi all
I have put amber indicators where the reversing lights should be, but the stop light is still on the indicator line, where i need it on the rear red light.
I put a posting on afew weeks ago  and ret helped me on what wiring diagrams i needed but it seems confusing.
so can anybody help and tell me what wires go where?

Many thanxs

Dave, you need to separate the brake and indicator wiring. This means running another wire down the body (you can sometimes use the reverse light wire for this). The brake light wire must be disconnected from the column switch and run directly to the back of the car. Then it is plugged into the red lamps along with the tail lights. The indicator wires (the pink & purple) are then used for the orange lamps.
