Title: Re: new windscreen Post by: colt on June 04, 2008, 06:26:45 PM Leon, I'm presuming you want laminated? I've got a new standard screen here. Not many people want standard glass though.
Colin. Title: Re: new windscreen Post by: mcl1959 on June 04, 2008, 08:07:14 PM FC427, Rear FC screens have not been available for years. I don't think you can get any of the early model rear screens or wagon side glass either.
Ken Title: Re: new windscreen Post by: FC427 on June 04, 2008, 08:30:52 PM Thanks Ken as I thought, not available ... Last one I bought was back in 1979 $60 fitted......FC427......

Not many people want standard glass though. is it new, no scratches or chips, how much?Colin. know laminated is better and holds together but i never had one before and it never bothered me. the standard ones shatter into tiny pieces right? Title: Re: new windscreen Post by: Ed on June 05, 2008, 08:18:49 AM Wagon rear and side glass is not available.
Leon, I think the rego guys will insist on laminated glass for a modified. They looked at all my window stamps for engineering and rego. I'm not even sure what tint screen I have now, with all clear side windows you don't notice. Cheers Ed Title: Re: new windscreen Post by: Hewart on June 05, 2008, 11:40:36 AM the standard ones shatter into tiny pieces right? yes!! ;) (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v145/Hewart/extras/windy.jpg) |
