Title: Trim Code Post by: mc54 on May 10, 2008, 12:54:01 PM Hello All
I was hoping someone could tell me the colour of the trim in my car. I have checked the number against the codes on your website and I cannot see it listed. (http://fcholden59.bigblog.com.au/data/5/28811/image/plate4276020080510122515.jpg) Any information would be appreciated. Thank you Mike Title: Re: Trim Code Post by: RET on May 10, 2008, 06:02:46 PM The exterior colours are India Ivory with a Royal Marine insert, and I would suspect (based on the pattern of numbers) that the interior scheme is probably Venetian Turquoise & Parchment Ivory. Is that what it looks like?
Ken (mcl1959) can probably give you the definitive answer. cheers RET Title: Re: Trim Code Post by: mcl1959 on May 10, 2008, 06:20:58 PM RET's right on the money ;)

Now all I have to do is decide which colour is the Venetian Turquoise. The interior seems to be original. There were 2 sets of seat covers when I bought the car, so sun damage seems unlikely. It looks like some of the vinyl has changed colour over the years. The front seat is a greenish blue, but with one panel blue. (http://fcholden59.bigblog.com.au/data/5/28811/image/seat12694420080511152512.jpg) The piping on the front seat is blue. The door panels are blue. The rear seat cushion is blue, and the back is greenish blue. The piping on the rear seat is greenish blue. If anyone has seen a Venetian Turquoise interior, perhaps they could let me know which of the two colours it may be. This is the first FC Holden that I have seen so I don't have anything to compare it with. Thanks Mike Title: Re: Trim Code Post by: mcl1959 on May 11, 2008, 04:49:36 PM It's the greener one. I've never seen fading occur like that on your car where a panel fades differently - It must have had different die lots used when made.

Glad to hear that its the green, I like the colour better than the blue. Mike |
