Title: Vic Club Travel
Post by: HAD 708 on March 20, 2008, 06:28:59 AM
Hi Guys
The mighty Vic FE FC Car Club of Vic leave this morning for the Nationals. We will have close to 40 cars in attendance and we all look forward to a great time as we always have at all Nationals catching up with old friends and new! We will be leaving as previously noted from Ballan and then travelling through round the back of Ballarat and down towards Hamilton for lunch etc. Then on to Mt Gambier ;D ;D ;D We are all hoping for a safe and uneventful trip on there 50th birhday year so wish us all luck and we will load some photos up on our return.
Cheers
Brett Gillard

All the best Brett, I hope you guys have a safe and enjoyable trip westward. Bec and I are very much looking forward to catching up with you all in Mt Gambier. We'll travel down from Canberra to Ballarat tonight and tomorrow morning we hope to join the 2nd Vic Club convoy at Ballan (I've got Derrick's contact details). Cheers, Tim.

Hi Tim,

With the price of petrol these days, rather than come back to Ballan to go through Ballarat again why not catch up with us on the way out of Ballarat heading towards Hamilton? Ballan is about half an hour out of Ballarat.

You've got my number and if we are on time we should be going through Ballarat about 8:30 -9:00 am and we could pick you up on the Glenelg Hwy. Unless of course you'd like like McD's for breakfast with me while we wait for others to turn up at Ballan.

Derrick.

A great trip to MT Gambier on Friday with 4 cars in tow, two FC utes, a wagon and sedan. No major mechanical problems, a cracked exhaust manifold in Kevins ute which was sorted on Saturday and I'm sure a great time was had by all. Thanks to SA for having us. Derrick :D
