Post by: I958GM on March 15, 2008, 09:48:56 AM
Hi gang, l'm chasing a hr disc brake front end, a cross member that will suit an all aussie four speed to fit my FC. Also tripple carbs - l will try werribee swap meet tommorow. Any help greatly appreciated-Mark.

Gidday Mark

I have a crossmember which came out of HT but should fit FC as long as you have chassis rails.
Let me know if this suits

You will need to fit some form of chassis rails in order to gain an engineers report - otherwise there is nowhere to hang the back of the gearbox.

Thanks Ken for the info, could you tell me what the rails would need to consist of (from where to where etc) and if someone makes them to bolt straight up. Any help is appreciated -Mark

Rails are attached to the rear spring hangers and to the crossmember under the front floor. CRS sell these as a kit but they are pretty easily made yourself if you have welding / steelworking skills.
