Title: Holley problems Post by: Glenn 'Stinky' Stankevicius on March 09, 2008, 11:44:37 PM Fired up the FE for the first time in a few weeks and petrol has started to come out of the rubber plunger thing ??? as marked in the pic. It's a modded 450 Vac Sec, no choke and it has never done this before, it's not a torrent but not a small leak either. Very much a fire hazard.
Easy fix or mechanic needed? Try taking the needle and seat out and cleaning it first. Depending what type of float you have in there also if its plastic or metal float, could have a hole in it and filled up with fuel and no longer floats. After cleaning it try adjusting the needle and seat.

Took the needle and seat out, looked OK, blew it out with air and refitted, no leaks. the screw and nut holding the needle and seat was a loose when I took it out, could this have been the problem? Title: Re: Holley problems Post by: sexyfc on March 15, 2008, 05:14:57 PM Possibly, since you have blown it out is it ok?
