Title: Oil pump or kit Post by: Philby on March 06, 2008, 11:04:24 AM Hi all,
The oil pump in my FC (running a 132 Gray) died on the way to the workshop the other day, and the guys at the shop haven’t been unable to source a repair kit or new pump. Apparently they've done all the tests and inspected the pump and its stuffed. I hope they are right as I've read a couple of threads here where owners have just cleaned them out and they're fine. Anyways, the car is still in the shop and we're trying to locat a pump or repair kit. Does anyone have a good condition oil pump they are willing to sell or know where to find a kit? I saw a kit on ebay but the auction finished yesterday and Rares don’t have access to a kit or a pump. Any help is greatly appreciated. Dean, thanks for the offer but I’ve no idea if the oil pumps are compatible/transferrable, I’m on a learning curve at the moment so when I find out I’ll let you know (and maybe give you a call). If you need a pump or any other grey bits I have oodles here. Just take your pick.
