The first has some extensive mods. Not sure about that rolled rear pan, perhaps if the boot was extended it may look better. A lot of work involved before this car would hit the road or the strip. Cool looking FC wagon in the background also. The second was the Peter Jackson cigarette company promotional vehicle. featured in their advertising. I may be wrong, but I think this car was given away as part of the promotion. Thanks for the links.
