Title: 185/80 13 Tyre wanted
Post by: NascoHunter on November 30, 2007, 07:42:46 PM
Hi,
I'm chasing 1 (or 2 would be better) Hankook 13" Tyre 185/80 Mileage Plus with the small white wall band  which are not made any more for 13". One of mine is damaged. Have tried Kumho, Sumitomo in that size but these are no longer available. Spoke to Antique Tyre company about Cooper Tyres but they have no stock left and tell me they may not be made in that size again. If they do get more it could be in the New Year. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone knows of where I can get these tyes I would be grateful.  If the tyres have no white wall it will not matter, as long as they're 185/80 x 13".
Regards,
 Tony.

In a just expired K Mart tyre sale catalogue here in N.S.W they advertised "Sonar" S-780 tyres in 155/80R13 for $39 each.

I know they aren't the size and brand you are after but they are cheap, round, black and made of rubber.

Terry.

No good Terry I'm after 185/80 which is a higher profile.

I know Michelin made a 185/80-13 as I had a set on my HD a few years ago, could be worth checking out?

Have you tried calling all the Hankook sellers/disributors, maybe one has some odd stock?
