Title: Copper head gaskets Post by: Brad on November 14, 2007, 05:38:28 PM I just bought two nos copper head gaskets from e- bay . No one else bid on them . So are they still good after all those years or have I wasted my money :-[ .
Or maybe nobody wants to put copper head gaskets on their car anymore? :o. Brad. They are quite OK to use on the car. I thought that the gaskets would be ok. FC427 . I did not buy the gaskets to "save a few dollars " I bought them because they are the original type gaskets suplied with the car. I'm trying to keep the car as original as possible and if that means having asbestos in the head gasket than so be it. I am fully aware of the carcinogenic effects of asbestos and I can assure you I will take all necessary safety precautions. brad |
