Every Holden employee got a badge and they are not really rare. But the older they are the rarer they get. Badges which date back to 1948 are worth more than badges from the seventies.
Collectors can tell from the number on the back. The 2 I have are round with the emblem from the back of the FC handbook on them. The words around the edge say "ADVANCEMENT OF TRANSPORTATION" One is green and one is black. They come from different departments. On eis numbered W779, the other D235. I think mine are both 50's era, but not entirely sure. My opinion is that they are worth between $50 and $100 each.
