The red 6 is comparatively a straight forward swap and with a little massaging can get the old girls moving pretty quickly. If you want a fire-breather that goes fast in a straight line and can be a little dicey in the corners, costs a bomb to build and register, then go the V8. Title: Re: 6 or 8 Post by: FC427 on November 06, 2007, 10:59:02 PM If you have around $8,500 to $12,000 to spend go with the V8 because that is what it will cost by the time it is engineered and on the road and you will still have to do a lot of work your self to come in on budget if you start it is common to spend twice that amount , its really about how much you can afford . The six if you buy a Donner car like the EK wagon that is on this site you could be driving for $4,000 to $5,000 engineered FC427
