Title: Re: Tilli kit on ute Post by: mcl1959 on October 21, 2007, 03:47:12 PM Yes a bit of a mixture of parts
The "Holden" script has been moved forward and 3 FB stars added where the script used to be. And another "Holden" script on the rear quarter. It also has scratch plates and an FB bonnet emblem as well as the big wing mirrors. Would have been a flash ute in its day Ken Title: Re: Tilli kit on ute Post by: TAYZ on October 22, 2007, 08:58:05 AM How old is the pic of the second ute Ken? Is it still salvageable? Im not after one but just wondering. Looks like a real kool old ute. 8)
Title: Re: Tilli kit on ute Post by: Brad on October 22, 2007, 06:02:14 PM About six months ago I went up to Mt Tarampa QLD to look at a ute for sale and it had an almost identical Tilly flash as the one in the second pic. I have never seen one before like it and thought it was a one off home made add on . I should have taken my camera with me but I asked my niece who lives nearby to take a pic and e-mail it to me , still waiting ::).BTW the colours were the same to look at.
Unfortunately the floor and subframes were rusted away and it was a basket case . The owner wanted $1000 for it. about $600 to much for me considering the state of it. Brad. |
