Title: Ryco oil filter clash
Post by: Rabbitoh on October 09, 2007, 07:33:47 PM
Can anyone tell me how the Ryco 463 remote oil filter can be mounted in a stock FE ute engine bay according to the manufacturer's fitting diagram, without the filter body fouling the steering box?

Mounted as so - assuming this is the remote filter you are referring to

Should be the same as Alex posted in his Accessory of the week section

Thanks Zulu,
that filter is mounted one cylinder forward of where the instructions show it.
The steel pipe that comes with the filter kit is not long enough to get back to the oil pressure sender outlet opening in the block if I mount it there. Will have to get a longer pipe made up methinks?
Nothing's ever simple is it :(

The link is broken to the pic, did you move it or rename it?
