Post by: v8 wagon on September 30, 2007, 11:20:33 PM
Just need to know what is the best way to clean a set of jack myers headers, they are just dirty, nothing major. Acid? Blasting? wire brush and hard work( I dont think so) ?

for that stuff i just use a twist knot cup brush,a wire wheel and than acid with a scourer, should take about 2.5 hours to get the headers to fresh looking metal but eye protection is a must.(http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/FCCOOL/engine2008.jpg)

Howdy all,

Just had my set of jack myers headers done, took them to the local sandblaster along with the heat proof paint i was using and he blasted and painted them for $30.......It was that easy and they came up looking fantastic......
