Title: FE panelvans.. How many where produced
Post by: reddo on September 30, 2007, 08:34:19 PM
Hi all.
Just a couple of questions raised amongst a few drunks at the pub the other night.
Some say there was more FJ panel vans made than FE Vans ???.
I am inclined to believe this as the FJs where available for more years than the FEs
How many FJ Panelvans where produced before they introduced the FE???
How many FE panelvans where produced Australia wide before they introduced the FC ??

Thanx in advance
Reddo

There were approx 5020 FE vans made in about 8 months of production. I don't know how many FJ vans were made but they were produced for about 2 years so would have to be more than FE in my opinion

In one of Don Loffler's books, he writes 'less than 8000 panel vans were produced'.  He is talking about the FJ series.  Reference 'The FJ Holden - A Favourite Australian Car' by Don Loffler published 2002.
