Guru Ken can probably give you a better estimate of the manufacture date than I can, but can you double-check that engine number? If it's original, it should start with L, and I would expect it to be in the range of L325000 - L415000. cheers RET Title: Re: when was my FE ute built? The chassis is wrong for your car Body number 2922 is Aug 57 - this would be the correct date for your car if the ID plate does not look like it has been removed from the body. Chassis number 26380 is June 57 The chassis number for your car should be around 39000M The engine number is from an FX Holden Hope this helps Ken. |
