If there are any more out there, I would like to hear from you ............. after Gazrat of course. ;) Cheers, Kevin Title: Re: trims Post by: mcl1959 on June 20, 2007, 10:02:53 AM Be aware that there are 2 types - small thumb print FB/EK and large thumb print EJ

But they are worth it as i think they look the goods on a stock car Good luck with your search as they are a little like hens teeth!

http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=nasco;action=display;num=1129558690 Ken, I thought the thumb print Wheel trims were for the FE or FC. If not, what should the FC have as wheel trims? Kevin Title: Re: trims Post by: zulu on June 21, 2007, 06:56:23 AM Or this one, #40 from Alex's great reference list.
http://www.fefcholden.org.au/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=nasco;action=display;num=1134387905 I think these are harder to find than the thumbprint type & like the thumbprint type, there are other types that look similar. Gary Title: Re: trims Post by: mcl1959 on June 21, 2007, 09:14:15 AM Absolutely Gary - these are the genuine FE and FC wheel trim rings. The thumbprint trim ring was released in December 1959 which means that barely any FC's would have been fitted with these from the dealership.
They are a little more common to find than the early ones because they clip on behind the hub cap whilst the early ones were a push on stle ring. Ken |
