Hi all
        For those who are waiting of Alfio to continue his thread BLACK BEAUTY you will be waiting for 9999 days as that is how long his banned is for. I don't know  what alfio wrote in his post to cop this ban as it was locked/deleted since i read it last night but i did notice he said sorry.

But from what i did see there was a few people lining up to sink the daggers into his back, i don't need to name them as they know who they are, funny none of them are banned  ::)

I understand some people on this forum have some personal issues with Alfio but I know he is the first to give advice/help to anyone in regards to panel & paint.

He was not even given a call to say why he was banned & only found out when he tried to log on to the forum, he has no right of appeal

In the last few months we have lost a few guys off the forum such as harko,col & now alfio due to shit that has happened on this forum & unless people pull there heads out of their arses & get over their pity squabbles then we are going to lose a lot more. I thought this forum is for everyone not just for the select few. It seems there are different rule for different members depending on your status in the clubs.

From my understanding, Alfio has been banned for a month.

This is from postings that have gotten out of hand including swearing and even threatening a member.

This sort of behaviour can not be tolerated in any forum, and I believe that the punishment fits the crime.

Alfio knows what he has done and I believe that he is also big enough to be back here again under the right circumstances, as his knowledge to this forum would be missed.

As you mention, you didn't see what led to the ultimate removal of the thread, so let's not get carried away with conspiracy theories.

Alf was in blatant breach of the forum rules ($2), and will be having a time out. He has been (or soon will be) emailed the full details of what the various administrators felt was the appropriate response.

I won't lock this thread, because I don't want to be accused of censoring debate. Having said that though, I can't see there's much to be gained arguing about the content of posts that few of you have actually read. It should be clear from what's left of the thread that it is taken very seriously.

it did look a bit like he was trying too take over alex and johns thread and i reckon he shouldnt have posted the pics of the other car the way he did, maybe he should have left that secret, now people will see it at a show and say "its just a grey and white one with the tag of a black one.
but i rely alot on info off the net, I know alfio knows his stuff, i much prefer take advice from someone like alfio than someone who has slaped some bog over some rust and old paint down there back yard and thinks they are a bodyman.
I think alfio is pretty passionate about what he does and seems too easily upset when he doesnt get the feedback he wants.
 as most of us who have done our own paint and panel know it takes some hard work and time and lots of expensive materials to do what alfio does, i doubt he is going to get rich of it.
Alfio does make a bit of a fool of himself on the forum, he types even worse than me, he isnt that bad in real life (unless he is singing kareoke) I think he might give people from other states that dont see him so often the wrong impression.
I know some people can be very upset or disturbed by swearing when they turn on there computer but it doesnt upset me or even my kids, all that annoys me is everytime i open my outlook inbox is always full of viagra and penis enlargement messages, never any messages for me from anyone i know, i have big enough equiptment down there and its hard enough trying to keep it down let alone taking things to make it go up.
I think the best way to look at alfio's black, grey and white FC is as one that had a massive rust replacement section done, i dont really think its the same car imo but you can bet a good body is better than welded up rusty one that is more likely to crack and rust down the track, so you could say alfio is taking the safest route for rebuilding his black FC, maybe for safety reasons.
it will be good too see updates if alfio returns and a bit of tech stuff, hopefully alfio will be a little more tame and we can see this thing through till the car is finnished.
the forum has been a little dead lately and this week a few projects have been updated and a good ol sh%tfight again have put some life back in but i think we all need to remember we are old holden fans, not playground bitc#s and this is the FE FC holden forum, not www.jerryspringertv.com

Any chance of re-posting the progress pictures and comments/instructions to them as i found them very informative.
I didn't see what was said that had to be deleted but at least leave the helpful information and pictures for us to learn from.
I'm sure it can be done, just delete the offensive stuff.

To set the record straight.

This goes beyond the NSW club, the decision to ban was made by a group of Admins from all over Australia.

It wasn't just because of one post that Alfio got banned. There were a number of transgressions that led to the ban, the worst of which was the threat of physical violence.

There is/was no vendetta against Alfio, he did the crime now he does the time. As anyone has in the past and will do in the future, people don't get banned for airing their opinions unless they break the rules in doing so.

There is no right of appeal when the evidence is conclusive.

All offenders have had warnings or appropiate action taken.

Not everything about the board gets aired publicly, if it did the board would probably get reduced to a rabble or people argueing about who did what.

That's all I have to say and it may be too much.

I hope that helps people understand the situation.

The "Black Beauty" thread will probably return after it has been cleaned up.

as most of you know i dont post all that often,i spend my time reading and learning what i can from here.
this site has a wealth of knowlage for everybody to contribute or absorb and in my case absorb.
i was following alfico post with great interest but i have more interest in FCCOOL KUSTOM WAGON REBUILD for Mt Gambier and to you sir i take my hat off.
what i am trying to say is keep it nice and we will all be the better for it.
