Hi All,

need a few FC bits:

good set of seat rear seat belts, lap/sash for each side and sash for centre. black in colour

fitted front carpet, black in colour

Tony,

I got my seatbelts from the local auto parts supplier for about $150.00 for two rear in black. Could have got other colours but too impatient ::)

I ordered my carpet  and underlay from a company who advertises in Unique Cars - fast delivery, good quality and fit, good price (about $140.00 delivered)

Boot liner/rubber mat - Obselete Rubber have the boot mats, bring your wallet with you and a good credit card cause they ain't cheap, but are great quality. They also advertise in Unique Cars.

There's a club meeting on next week where you'll get all the help you need. Hope to see you there.

Cheers,

Craig

Tony,

Buy new belts as Craig suggests.  You just don't know where second-hand ones might have been.

If they get used to restrain someone in a serious accident, safety engineers will tell you they should be replaced - once they've stretched, they're not safe.  And you don't want to find that out the hard way  :-/

will take the advice on seat belts, thanks.

my only concern was that the new type look a bit too "modern" does that make sense....

can you buy new belts that have the older style buckles?

Tony

Not sure, but who's gonna see the buckles once the belts are wrapped around the child restraints?  ;D

Tony,
I don't believe you can get the old type buckles but maybe you could buy old holden belts and have new straps made by a motor trimmer.

Cheers,
Graham ;)

Tony,

Just finished wrecking an FE. I'm sure I've got the seat adjustment knob available. If you still need one, let me know at meekys@bigpond.com.
