Title: Moon's new FC
Post by: Moon on March 28, 2007, 10:47:59 AM
Well, here she is, my new baby.  ;D It's pretty much standard except for electric windscreen wipers (wich I have installed), 12 volt, gearshift knob, front FE number plate surround & stereo. It has standard wheels with dress rims now too, these pictures were taken by the guy who sold it, & he kept those rims in pics.
I checked numbers out but I am a little confused  :-/ by the paint & rpo numbers, so I'll put them up.
BODY No: 225-7074-S
TRIM: 272-633
PAINT: 256-2031
RPO 253-2047
SUBFRAME: 8-13715-S
ENGINE: L363406
I think engine might be out of an FE, not sure though.
Just got to give her a few touchups here & there, then can CRUUUUUUISE!!!!!  ;D

I will post some shots of the interior later on as my camera has decided to pack it in.
Cheers all,
Moon. ;)

I agree, nice car Moon ;)

Its interesting how time changes perceptions of things, I didn't like this colour scheme when I was a kid, mainly because 1) there were so many of them around and 2) because every second house (ours included) seemed to have a set of bakelite kitchen canisters in the same colours - remember them?

Now that I don't see either very often anymore, I can appreciate how nice this colour scheme is.

Who knows, one day I might take to brown metallic with orange velour interiors - for now though I need more time :P

Cheers
John
