Title: elk blue formula Post by: narredude on February 07, 2007, 06:59:20 AM Hello to one and all
dose anyone have the ppg formula for elk blue any help would be appreciated cheers :) Title: Re: elk blue formula Post by: RET on February 07, 2007, 07:17:02 AM PPG have it. Tell them the colour you're after and their Technical Customer Service area can suggest equivalent acrylic or two-pack colours.
PPG Australia Customer Service & Technical Support 13 24 24 Toll Free Fax 1800 800 819 The BALM Paint code for Elk Blue is known variously as 7481, 17481 or 286-17481, and it is a 1956 colour. That should be all the info they need. The original paint book has the nitrocellulose lacquer (lead-enamel paint) formula - and I could give it to you - but it's useless. The tinters for lacquer are completely different to acrylic or two-pack tints. cheers RET Title: Re: elk blue formula Post by: narredude on February 07, 2007, 09:33:41 AM THANKS RET ;)
