Utility, wagon & van use the short petrol sender.  Sedans use the long one.  Both will fit in either but your gauge will be a long way out.

Collecta, use the short one.

Thanks Spinner,
i had been running the long sender and would run out of fuel at half tank.
after posting request and waiting for a while decided  to remove sender from my unmolested FC sedan in the shed and found long armed sender, so i put short one in the ute as you suggested and hey presto proper reading gauge.

cheers
Scott

So wagons use a short sender too? and only read to half if the longer sedan one is fitted?
That could explain the problem with my wagon  ::)
