Title: question for ken re brakes Post by: v8 wagon on October 10, 2006, 07:42:01 AM I want to change the stud pattern on the front of wagon to match the rear.
at present it is running vn stud pattern at rear and wb on the front . (crs hr front end, vn diff at rear). and it is running hq gts rims front and rear. can I fit a commodore disc on the front end using the exsisting calliper, or am I better to get a blank wb disc redrilled to commodore stud pattern.( if so how much). Then I will be fitting commodore rims allround. steve Title: Re: question for ken re brakes Post by: mcl1959 on October 10, 2006, 08:58:42 AM No you cant fit Commodore rotors with HQ to WB calipers. We can supply HQ rotors in Commodore pattern (about $200 each in smooth- more expensive if slotted or drilled & slotted)
Or P76 rotors in Commodore pattern (once again about $200 each plus bearing fitting kit $140) The benefit of P76 is that it moves the track in about 18 mm per side. They are still 7/16 thread but the splined bit is larger. The difference in the stud pattern is only 1.6mm or thereabouts.
I bought the studs from Coventrys. |
