Title: Successful auction day Post by: mcl1959 on August 24, 2002, 07:04:35 AM The auction day was a huge success with approximately $18 000 sold and about $1200 raised for the club. Just about all items were sold and with the car park full of swap sites selling mostly FE and FC parts only, it was like being in Holden heaven.
A number of readers of this chat line secured items - a total of 46 items went to interstate bidders. Bill Wellwood and Gerard Dwyer from Shannons Insurance were brilliant as the auctioneers and really kept the items moving. Ken |
