Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone could help me solving a problem with my 5 speed celica gearbox. I have just had the box out to have rear bush that supports the tail shaft yoke replaced and a check over the rest of the internals, as I was having trouble getting into gear. The stick would stop just before engaging and would need a bit of effort to engage any gear.

I had the work done by a specialist and was told nothing wrong but now after reinstalling it will not go into gear at all, it just grinds.The clutch is disengaging and plate is free and when engine is off and clutch in it still would not go into gear. Any help would be great.

if you mean the leaf spring,  that all stays the same ( original ) and the rear leg of the chassis kit is welded to the sub rail where it makes contact.

We started at 10am from Penrith panthers for the country drive to Burragorang Look out, which took 1.15hours, 5 club cars started  the drive with a 59 chev and 2 late model cars following and another 4 cars meeting us there  , what a great day it turned out to be with spectacular views of the Warragamba catchment and surrounding bushland.
