Quality isn't fantastic on these, but ya can make out the shapes  Wink Wink

Spencer St Station, Melbs 1962


No Idea!


I will try get a better scan of this one as it's an amazing photo, I gave up counting Holdens there are so many in the pic in the book.(It's taken at Woolworths, Jesmond.Newcastle 1964)

Nick, great photos!
You'll need to play around with the descreen option when scanning the ones that have the cross-hatch pattern. Same goes for glossy magazine pics, scanned normally a weird pattern comes out.

First time scanning,  Roll Eyes I will give it a go later as that last pic is a classic, you can see the good shapes of so many sedans and wagons it's not funny.

And thanks again Les that Spencer St pic is awsome, I found all of them in "The Menzies Years" book at a local op shop - $4 bucks.. Grin....got some lovely shots of FJ's also and one of ex Prime Minister Ben Chifley's funeral with over 20 black mint FJ Holdens in the cortage.


I will get scanning....and no political comments either..I just bought the book to look at the pics(can't read yet!  Roll Eyes )

Just trying this one again,  Roll Eyes  I will delete if crap!!!
hard photo to scan and keep all the small detail.....
Just save the image to your PC and use your image viewer to magnify it..heaps of holdens in it..heaps  Grin
