Great work Dave, looks fantastic and the ute looks beautiful as well.Looks like it's a tight fit getting the ute under that door though! Cheesy Cheers,Jamie.

It helps to be using all the original panels too but often due to condition of originals, panels get swapped out (this all goes without saying I guess). After I had a few fitment problems I realised that not having ALL the screws and bolts in the front hinges did make a difference.I only had minor trouble with the top frame of the rear passenger side door and by putting a piece of 18mm MDF at the top of the front of the frame and closing the door onto it (in the door jamb) fixed it easily.I accidently mixed up the hinges from one door to a changeover door on the drivers side rear door which threw it way out. After inspectiong both hinges they were very different in offset and obviously adjusted differently at production.Cheers,Jamie.

This thread is a perfect example of how almost anything can be achieved with the right outlook from the beginning and an awesome amount of dedication.I am so pleased to see you persisting as this car was VERY rusty and it is obvious that you think like me as I rarely see anything that looks "too far gone" to be repaired.Well done and keep up the great work.Watching the progress with particular interest.Cheers,Jamie. Cool

Well done Craig, car looks fantastic and yes it is an amazing feeling to finally have your car back on the road after such a long time off it.It is quite surreal to drive it for the first time after only seeing it parked in the shed.Have fun with it now and enjoy all the comments you get from others.Cheers,Jamie.
