Title: 'N Walker & Son' Grey Motor Marine Manifolds
Post by: THOMMO_2 on April 15, 2011, 06:29:47 PM
Gday All

I am looking for a 'N Walker & Son' Twin Carb Manifold & Matching Water Cooled Twin Exhaust Header,
to suit a grey motor for a boat. These manifolds are Marine Use Only.

You can notice on the bottom photo, the angled carb mounting faces on the manifold would have the carbys leaning backwards
if fitted to a car, on my boat the manifold is on the other side of the motor (because the motor is backwards & tilted on a greater angle) so
this has them pointing up in the right direction.

Any leads on this items greatly appreciated  8)

Hey Jeff
I don't have what you need, but thank you for posting the pic and info.
I did not know that set up existed before.
Good luck with your search.
Regards
Alex

Jeff,

I can't help either, but I did see one of those inlet manifolds on a midget speedcar last year. The extra long runners caught my attention.

Good luck in your search

Dave

Hi Dave88, I am from the cawpba site, but thanks for the tip ;)

The single/triple set up would be a tawco manifold Ash, its a single/twin actually.
The carb mount flanges are too close together to be used as triples.
Tawco's are as common as bums, almost standard equipment as far as marinising goes.
If the manifold is not a tawco though, I would be interested to find out what it is.
Please check it out.

Thanks for the replies fella's 8)

Cheers
Jeff
