Here's a pic of Alan Carroll's beautiful blown FC at the 6th SM Nats. Car featured 400ci Chevy V8, w/ 6-71 blower and Turbo400 auto.

i can remember seeing a sedan very similar to alan's back in the early 80's. if it is, thanks for the influence of my current streeter. this is what set me on track.

thanks again

Hi Guys
I saw an FC at the willowbank winter nationals that looks much the same as this car with the exception of the huge wheel tubs and engine & blower twice the size and it was at least half fiberglass.

I did not have the camera on me and it was gone the next day so sorry no pic for you all.

cheers Jim

Tony (nascohunter) sent me a pic to share of Alan's FC taken at a show in the late 80's at the Blind Institute, Burwood.

Here's a magazine article I had at home from Custom Rodder No. 89. It from about 1985/86. This FC was on the cover and the pull-out poster in the middle. The poster was on my bedroom wall in 1986 and is long gone now!!

It says it's owned by someone else here, but Alan Carroll gets the credit for the engine swap....

Hope you can read it!!

I'm sure I thought she was hot back then too Roll Eyes Tongue

Cheers

I remember buying this mag and in doing so i bought a few.  I had pics of this FC plastered all over my wall, I tried in vain to get any street machine mag with this FC in it, from memory the owner in that pic was PeterMILAS....... something, i think it wa s greek name.  Its great to see these threads it brings back a lot of memorys like writing all over my school folders, FC-186 when everyone else was writing Metallica or some heavy metal band.  I gave away all my mags about 10 years ago, about 350- of them........ Sad Sad

I remember this mag as I had quite a nice collection including Street Machine and Custom Vans & Trucks unlike Tayz mine ended up in the local tip along with my LP'S and 45's that was my ex's idea of cleaning up before we moved house.
As for the young lady Les I was 21 back then so I would of thought she was hot as well Grin Grin Grin Cheers Tommo

Here's your chance to own this car, sans a few chrome bits.
Just listed on ebay @ $20k +.

looked at this car today certainley is 80's conversion not worth the asking price of 30k though no r.w.c and probably no chance of geting one without the basics, seatbelts, demister, two speed wipers washers,t/bar indicator, firewall has been cut out on the left hand side for no unknown reason.sounds tough and needs a lot of re detailing under bonnet.any how i may have a chance to buy back my old ute now thats its finished those who know me will now the car, will keep informed on how i get on
thanks brad
