Interior or exterior? I have an interior one that is 8 inch wide, came out of an FB I wrecked. It's not bad, not perfect, but better than most. I would say 8 out of 10. If interested please pm me.

Not sure if you got one by now, I have one $15 + postage from Wodonga VIC, would make it around $30 delivered to your door (that is with postage). Was working well when pulled off a 202 red a couple of years ago.
Cheers

Was this the jet size in the original 1 1/32 stromberg? If so I have a carby here that I can pinch the jet out of!! Only problem is I can't find my main jet removal tool!! Peter

Technical Board / General Technical / Re: Question regarding wiper pivots

Thanks RET well that rules out FE FC also!! Maybe they aren't even from a Holden!! They don't have a part number on them, in fact they have no writing at all!! But some further info on them, the hole is 16mm in diameter and has what looks like a locating keyway inside. The straight base is 30mm across. Hope that helps with the ID puzzle.
Regards
Peter

Galleries / Other Images / 3 wrecks all in row!!

Came across these old buses when I purchased a FB wagon for wrecking. The owner had a love of these wagons, he'd accumulated quite a few and was crushing the cars for scrap steel when thanks goodness someone suggested he stop and try to sell them for parts!! I've got one, these will go too I'm sure. Just thought I'd post the pic up for interest.

Technical Board / General Technical / Question regarding wiper pivots
|
on: March 26, 2007, 08:42:47 AM
|
Hi all, I have a pair of wiper pivot spacers that I'm not too sure what they're off. I know FB EK ones have a small grub screw, these ones don't, could they be FE FC or maybe FX FJ?? Sorry the photo isn't too great ::)Thanks in advance. Peter

Best I can offer is that it's a Melbourne built HR special sedan. The paint numbers etc I'm not sure on.

Thanks for clarifying what I have, much appreciated! Now it's the long road searching for the bits I need at least initially, eg boot badge, front left bumper section and no doubt more to follow once I see the car! Regards Peter

It's been out in the Wimmera (western VIC) all of it's life I'm told, appears from the ID plate that it should have been all black. Any more pics you have would be great Rob J.
