yep  thats the one    gary.   the bloke was living up that way when he restored the ute, hence the carnamah rego.   he & the ute ute are originally from here.  i will dig up more info for you.

gary   got a bit of info on the ute. Grin..it was originally owned by a local cocky...then sold to a neighbouring farmer who used it a little ,then parked it in a shed where it sat for years covered with boxes & other junk. :'(the current owner is third in the line...he was also from the neighbouring district & worked on the guy for ages before getting it. ;Dthere was another fc ute in another shed & the owner said "if you can get that one going for me ,you can have the other".....so..he spent a lot of time freeing up the brakes...replacing the timing gear etc & then took pessesion of his prize. Grin Grin he moved it around with him for a lot of years as he changed address, untill he got to carnamah where he restored it..hence the CA rego. ;Dits done about 90,000 miles and  is in totally original condition.
i know your about to ask what became of the other ute...after it was repaired ,it sat in the shed for decades  :-/,along with some other very valuable vintage vehicles..none of which were ever for sale Angry...they were all destroyed in a bush fire last summer  Cry
