Title: Bot spring adjusters

Are there still photos of the spring adjustment bolts being made for the FC boot springs..or is anyone still selling them

RET is your man.  And yes, he still has boot spring hinge pins for sale.

I had another go at getting my spring on but every time I got it to clip in it let go again so ended up taking the hinge off and noticed the main pivot points hole was elongated
If I can post the photos could someone tell me if they are actually worn

Umm, yes.  Just a little bit.  Hold hinge tongue in one hand, link in the other, then push and pull . . .

Grind the rivet, punch it out.  Weld the oval hole up and drill it to size.  Fit new rivet.  Repeat for the hinge spring bracket.

clearly a boot lid from a travelling salesman's vehicle .!!!!!!!.
