Title: FE Standard poverty pack

Well been off here for a bit and my ol fc is in hiding in dry storage.  Just bought my self a fe standard sedan which im pretty excited about.  Pick it up in a few weeks.  It needs a fair bit of work but im looking forward to it.  Gotta sell an ek if anyones keen its in Ballarat vic.  I got pics of the fe but as usual i dont know how to post em...............    :P

My very first FE/FC (and mind you i have had a few since) was a business sedan and it was in about the same condition as this, same colour too. I only paid $75 for it and that was 24 years ago. I think i still have parts from that car that get used. It's a pity that back then i didn't realise more about which parts to keep and which to throw out.

I paid $600 for mine 10 yrs ago....and it came with a ute!!  ;D

Plans jack at this stage is cut out all rust first!  Ive got hr disc front chasis kit and a few speed bits laying around so im tippin hp block worked to max.  I quit the police force last year and now working wa mines so got a few dollars to spend.  But im not touching the paint or interior.  It stays as is

Business Sedan is almost identical to the Standard Sedan, but has a handful of additional features, designed for vehicles like taxis, travelling salesmen etc. Taxi rail is standard equipment, the dome-light switch is on the driver's side B pillar, equipped with heavy duty battery... picture tells a thousand words:

The Kingswood between the Belmont and Premier models, pretty much.

Flappers are white wall tyre inserts - they go between the rim and the tyre and "flap" a little while you drive. OK on crossply tyres but not so good on modern radials.
