Still on the hunt for an original FE FC windowless van panel support strut, i need 1 of the 6 that were used to support the inside of the panels, i am
hoping that someone knows of a totally rusted out van that might still have one in it, there sometimes still in the van even when a window has been put in.
i know that a little effort is required to drill out the spot welds on the tabs at the top and bottom so im happy to pay up to $300 for one of these.

I have a rusty FB van that has the bars still in place, if they are the same size one or two of them would be ok.

Have you thought of going to a fabricator and see if they can bend it up for you or talk to Pete(FCRB26) he may be able to help as he is a sheetie.

Yes Jim i spoke to a couple of sheeties but the strut has a slight curve the length of it on the side that sits up against the panel
and requires a specialist to fabricate, i have been told that its not cheap to do, so ill exhaust all avenues for an original one first
i do have some basic skills to try and replicate but the time it would take to end up with something that didnt look perfect (or possibly a bloody mess)
would not be worth the wasted effort.
I am fastidious when it comes to original interior and panel work (not so for the drive line) so im hoping someone knows of one.
