Ive got 3 years for the tassie nationals, thats my aim. Fabricating and welding isnt a problem for me either. Here is the last "thing" i built, It wont be to anyone taste here. Grin
Its commodore mechanical engine,5 speed, diff,Struts, Brakes and a bit of Toyota stuff in there as well Xmember, Rack and pinion, Steering column, Pedal box, 4 Link Rear. Most people dont believe its rear wheel drive, At car shows you usually see people lying under the rear  saying "yeah it has a diff under it"
Took me a Year and a half to complete from start to finish, But i am still collecting parts to a bit more on it. Everything is fabricated by me, except the intercooling pipes and Aluminium boot floor.
will also be featured in Zoom magazine soon.

Yes its a Hyundai Excel Shocked
Ill keep the old holden all holden.
I know ill be getting less back after its been to the blasters.

I have finally bought myself a FC holden, I was after a EK, but finding any old holden in tassie is getting hard. Buying from the big island was going to cost a fair chunk out of my budget.

A big thank you to Bill & Judi Wedd for selling me this car, Very nice, help full people.

My plan was to replace the floorpan, Interior, machanical with a VS commodore V6 ecotech,4 speed auto, IRS but not sure what i was going to do with the front end as yet.
I think my first step is to have it sand blasted see how bad the rust is and go from there.
There is a fair bit of rust, but not as much as i first though

So here are the pictures so far

Hi
On the look out for a FE to EK Sedan. Ive got upto $3000 to spend. Id like a complete car but doesnt have to have running gear, mainly Panels,Glass,Bumpers and lights. Depending on whats on offer ill be gutting and scratch building using late model commodore bits.

I would like a Tasmanian car as I think something from mainland is just going to put the cost up too much. But if someone has something worthwhile bringing accross with in my budget i can always look.

I not to optimistic but i can only ask

Regards
Nick
