Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: commodore rear seatbelts

Hi all, thanks for the replies allbeit to late , but I ended up getting some that mount on top of the rear parcel shelf. They do look a bit cumbersome but they do their job. Needed 'em in straight away so my kids could enjoy the FC as much as me One thing I did though was to make up a new cover for the parcel shelf because the old vinyl & underlay was totaly shagged! Cut out a template in cardboard of shelf, covered it in fibreglass and tidied it up into shape, then covered it in a foam backed material (which an upholsterer GAVE me!! Enough to do 2 or 3 more!! ) Came up a treat, when I finaly take a photo I will post it up to see. Got plans for the FC down the track so will probably go under parcel shelf with seat belts then but for now just enjoy the ride. Cheers, Moon

For Sale and Wanted / Other Stuff For Sale / Toyota Crown Royal Saloon

Hi all, I was going to use this as a project, by putting the full chassis under an FE/FC similar to what another guy by the name of Harko did with an FC Van. But alas as life can change things, I'm not going to be able to get to do it so it's got to go to someone who can use it. It's an 1985 Toyota Crown Royal Saloon, and for its age in great nick. I saved it from a wreckers a few years ago, Put a battery in to try an start it but heard a weird clicking noise ( sounded like near starter motor somewhere, dunno.) and that was it never worried about it since as I was not going to use the motor. At present I am only storing parts in it . Someone with know how would get it running pretty easy i think, it is basicly a complete car. Anyway, I am wanting what I paid for it which was $450.00 no more no less. Any questions leave em here same goes for a contact number, and I will get back to you. Oh, car is located in Stawell, Vic. Cheers, Moon. This thing was ahead of its time, it had everything from cruise control to its own little fridge esky thing on the rear parcel shelf.

Hi all, I'm wanting to put some rear seatbelts into my fc sedan, I'd like to use something like the VT rears and have them in the boot up under the rear parcel shelf. Has any one fitted these before? If so, some pics would be greatly appreciated! Main thing I'm wondering about is how/what the slot for the belt to exit through in the shelf should look like . Regards, Moon.

Howdy all, does anyone know of a transport company or just a good friendly guy that will relocate a non rolling body shell interstate, & a rough guess-tamate as to price? Would like to move one from Sydney to country Vic, but price will be the determining factor. Cheers, Moon.

Howdy all, don't get in here often enough these days, but during the times I do get in here, I have noticed this section has been quiet for some time. so I thought I'd have a little play and see what came out. Last one is a pic of my dog 'Nacho', up to no good . Cheers, Moon.

Yes, I am still after a shell. I am currently attacking a shell I already have, but I have some MAJOR work ahead of me what with rust worm & all . If another shell were to come my way & not to mention in better nic, it would be mighty handy. Anyway, if I remember rightly, you're from Gippsland way right? I'm in the wimmera area, so if I can find something a little closer to home it'd be better. ( is it just me or am I sounding a little fussy now? ) But thanks for the reply FC P/Van, Cheers, Moon. P.S. sorry for the late reply.

"You know the onl;y thing that has held me up for the last few weeks was a small object." What about some certain people who helped supply a certain front bumper at the Ballarat swap meet? Only jokin, . Was great to meet you Brett & have a chat about ya project, I hope ya have smoother sailin with the old girl from now on. I am still SUPER interested in seeing some new progress pics of it, when ya got the time. All the best, Moon .

one of 'em I downloaded was called "range of products" or something like that. It starts out with the "woman of the house" driving to the shops in an EK, she obviously wasn't used to those new fang-dangled things called INDICATORS because as she turns the corner she sticks her arm out the window to signal the turn!
