can any one tell me how to get the little chrome trim that sits in the bailey channel on the doors , are they spot welded in and do i just pull them out and dicard them and install new bailey channel rubbers . any help

Its just the edging on the bailey channel pull the whole lot out.

If its original bailey channel there are some small clips in the gutter that help hold it in there most of the time they break and you cannot get hold of them so just re install.

can you buy the same type or do i just put the felt type baily channel rubbers in.

If the car is modified or you are not fixed on originality then I'd be putting the later model push in type.

Cheap, easy to fit, and works perfectly.

Before you pull the old stuff out give it a spray around the edges with WD-40 and wait a day. Should come out more easily and may not leave you with as many broken clips that you have to scrape out later.

About $10.00 or less a metre for the felt stuff. I think you need 6 metres to do a car? Someone will confirm.

The factory stuff can be sourced new from Rares and is typically glued into place as the clips are unavailable.
