hi all i have recently fitted a celica 5 speed behind my grey motor . i tried it with a fc master cylinder and slave cylinder , then a celica master and slave cylinder. this works but needs a lot of foot pressure on the peddle , is this normal or am i doing something wrong., the bell housing is a w.a made seaton , with a celica clutch fork ,new pressure plate , bearing ,and celica to holden spigot bush.  also has any one got photos of there gear box supports ,mine uses the old gearbox supports plus a bracket i made my self all replies gratefully accepted regards clive

Is the spring under the dash still there? if it is, is it adjusted properly, it helps take some load off the pedal. There is some info on how to set it up in the workshop manual.  Use the bigest diameter slave cylinder (Toyota or Holden) with the smallest diameter master cylinder, that will give you maximum mechanical advantage. How far off the floor is the clutch engaging?
