Does anyone know if there were two styles of interior rear wheel tub covers for the FEs or FCs?
I have two different sets in the workshop and both look "original", one is a one piece design and the other is a two-piece  Huh

My car is very original Stinky, but one side has the 2 pieces stitched together as in these photos I took for you, but the other side they had used more glue and stuck the small piece under the screwed on piece, so I believe the RHS as in pics might be original and the 2 piece bit is very roughly cut and may be a repair job.

Ireckon they would have done it different ways because each factory would have had their own production bosses and fidly bits like this may have been done different, but i don't have a true answer for you only evidence  Smiley

Stinky-yes very early FE's had a one piece cover. I think the stretching involved made the 2 piece job a production improvement in the FE series.
