Hey i have a silly question, on  how to access the top of the rear shocky, to remove it?
I looked in the boot, removed the rear seat but still no luck. When looking underneath, there appears to be a plate that is tacked to the floor. Am i going crazy and have missed something so obvious. In the manual it says to just open up the trunk.
Thanks for any help.

Should be a couple of access holes might even have rubber boots to keep rubbish out.  Have a look at the photo, see if that helps.

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

lol, had a good chuckle over that one, very tempted to make comment about finding holes Shocked, but i'd better not, looks like a good rust free body you've got there.
