Paint code for metal seat trims

[Geoffs Fe Ute]

Does anyone know the paint code for the metal trims at each end of the bench seat in a FE Ute.The seats are blue,the outside paint color is Britton Blue.

hey there,  it sounds like you might have a seat out of an ek holden ? but i could be wrong   ?
i thought fe-fc seats had plastic surrounds?

so i guess i cant help you with a color.

My ute colour is actually bretton blue,sorry.

Geoff    Coolaride is quite right - you have FB/EK surrounds.  the original plastic surrounds were coloured plastic to match the seat material, so I guess you could choose a colour which matches the seats or use Breton Blue.

Ken,Do you think the plastic covers would fit if i could get them.

Yes they should.  The EK surrounds are the same shape as the FE ones around the bottom, but not as tall up the back of the seat.  As long as all the holes are still clear and nothing else is changed, they should just fit straight on.

Hey Geoff,
                I know this is a bit late but i just took the ORIGINAL bench seat out of my FE ute it also has the metal around the front. The seat is red and the metal is slightly darker red. The wifes fe sedan has the plastic around the seat but min in the ute is just a small metal piece that goes just on the corners
