There was an FC racing at Phillip Island in the Historic Touring Car Section.

Brendon Wilson in Car No. 53 the Cameron Street Mower World 1959 FC Sedan, pretty much stock.  drum brakes, column shift, grey motor, etc.  Looked pretty good too chewing up the EHs.

        awesome pics! do you have anymore?. looks like a very kool fc- shame we couldnt make it down.
its really good to see an fc 'racing car' out there doing what it does best Smiley

did it have a stock motor?

Soon we will have many photos with lots of FE's and FC's running around the track.Pity it will only be 2.5 laps.

The Grille badge was the first thing I noticed.  I'm pretty sure Brendon said the grey motor was running a single carburetta and single exhaust.  The FC had to be pretty much standard to be in ths Class he was in.  I didn't ask what engine work has gone on inside the motor.

I would be interesting to find out tho.
