Discovered this one on a property near Castlemaine today.
An fc standard station wagon with three engines, one in the front and two in the back!
The owner said that it was driven up on the hill that it is on to escape bush fires in 1968!,it hasnt moved since.
Here are the numbers, sorry no photos as my computer doesnt have enough brains for that sort of thing.
FC  219-874 M
173-667
256-7770
chassis No FC 53502 M
Must be quite early in the production.
Cheers

Thanks Deano - yes and no - Melbourne production started on wagons in 1959 but not many were ever made before the FB started.
Hence why there are not many Melbourne FC wagons in existence.
906 M is the highest Melbourne 219 I have
7061 M is the highest Melbourne 229 I have

This gives about 8000 Melbourne FC wagons ever made

No FE wagons were made in Melbourne - All other wagons were made in Adelaide only.

So if you have a Melbourne made wagon - it is pretty rare indeed!
