Hey Alex...
Sorry 'bout that...! I hadn't posted any pics as I didn't count myself as any real authority on the subject as I wasn't there for long enough Wink

Coupled with a big sleep in, living on the exact opposite side of Sydney (I don't think I could live any further away and still be in Sydney), and having to start work in the city at 4pm, I was only at this year's AHD for just over an hour or so :-/. Looked like a great day, and I'll be trying harder to get there next year Roll Eyes

I walked in, talked to a few members from both clubs I'm a member of, and some of the FB/EK guys, and walked out to head off to work. As a result I didn't see many of the record 600+ cars on display, and set a new low record of photos I took at a Holden display... hopefully others have more pics for you...

Here's a couple I  did take...

and 2 FE sedan that had the same paint, and are almost identical... Derick's and another...

Couple more pics here http://photobucket.com/albums/b223/Hewart4/ahd2005/

Cheers
Les... Wink

Thanks for the pics Les, you did well considering the short time you had.  Interesting to see 2 FEs painted same colour with the Tilly stripes.
Nice cars, all of them, including the SS sedan and Yellow van.  What engine was in that?

Thanks Shayne...
Not sure what engine it is... sometimes I think I stand there amazed at what some people can achieve and simply forget to take more pics... Roll Eyes. Pretty sure it was a V8 though...

As for the 2 Tilly FEs, the first one really threw me when I came across it... I know Derrik's one - FE 1958 - fairly well, and couldn't work out why he wasn't parked with the rest of the guys... It never even crossed my mind that there'd be 2 of them....

Cheers
Les...

Hey Les.
Thanks for the pics.
Some cars there I have not seen before.
The yellow van looks cool.
Painted headlight rims on the red FC is different.
Regards
Alex

Anyone got some more please!!

.. mmm the salmon pink sedan had me salivating....

on initial sight, it was reminiscent of "GOA350" altho a few shades darker.

Holden EFI 5L
AC mounted in boot with ducts running up next to the drve tunnel (concealed under carpet of course).
HQ handles,
tasty interior in tan.
very nicely engineered..

the motor was recessed beautifully.

apparently it has a power rack on it, (i didnt get down for a look - altho Harko did). also he/she managed to hide the alternator and other compressors out of sight!!!

top car IMHO.

cheers
